The Renault Zoe is a cost effective electric car, in the Supermini classification.
Initially its low range between charges, was prohibitive for many, and they may just have well got the tiny Renault Twizy. But now the battery has been upgraded to 41kWh and has a mid-range of almost 300KM is now easily achievable with a charge time of 16.5 to 30.5 hours at 220V.
Other features include free home installation for fast charging and an option to lease the battery rather than purchase, saving a considerable amount on the normal purchase price.
