The Hyundai Kona is a good all round affordable Crossover style EV, which can achieve up to 300 miles between battery charges. On top of this, it has a powerful 64kWh motor, enabling some impressive performance within its own class and also into the next. 

If you are looking for performance, but with perhaps slightly less practicality than some of the other family hatchback players in this bracket, then the Kona is certainly worth considering.
