There is now a new electric vehicle startup on the block, with a difference. The company is called AEV Technologies, based in Texas. They have just launched a range of 3-wheeler vehicles, for light duty city transportation work.

The AEV 311, is a 2 seater EV, easy to park, cheap to run, zero emissions claimed and capable of speeds up to 50 mph.

Charge time is around 6 hours using a 110V/20A supply.

Initial target market areas are educational campuses, residential areas, business premises, with industries such as couriers and food delivery.

The companies CEO has referred to the 311 vehicle as a “tremendous opportunity for environmentally conscious consumers, as well as public and private organizations seeking new cost-effective, clean-energy fleet alternatives.”
